TRIO Student Support Services STEM Grant; applications open 

TRIO SSS is a supplemental support office that was awarded a grant to serve more students! This grant serves STEM majors who also meet the federal low-income standard, are first generation, or have a documented disability. Services include dedicated advisors, writing and math specialists, tuition-waived courses, peer tutors and coaches, etc. For info & app, visit SSS website. 100% federally funded by the U.S. Dept. of Edu. $306,486.00, (Disability), $385,514.00 (Regular), and $272,364.00 (STEM) annually.

Advisor of the Year nominations open 

Nominations Sought for Academic Advisor of the Year    

The Advisement Model Implementation Team is coordinating Stout's Advisor of the Year Award for academic advisors.      

A Faculty Advisor of the Year and Staff Advisor of the Year will be awarded for a faculty or staff advisor in an academic program, an advisor in the Advisement Center, or an advisor in a student support office on campus.

Submit a nomination by Friday, April 17th.

Our Caucus starts at 6:30pm with our full Senate Meeting starting at 7:00pm.

The University Student Senate is the legislative body of the Stout Student Association and meets weekly to discuss university policy and shared governance, allocate fees, promote new initiatives in support of the students, and hear from campus leaders.

The agenda will be posted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting and can be accessed here. Anyone in need of accommodations should contact our Communications Specialist in advance at ssacommunications@uwstout.edu.
